The Origin of Cow Girl

In the year 2939, the tyrannic president Edwin Romney came into power. By his 3rd year in office, he grew power-hungry, burning the Constitution and the Declaration of Independance then began a coup that engulfed half the country. As for the other half, Democrat Governor Greg Norris of Michigan became the benevolent president of what is now called East America. The two sides have plunged into a second Civil War between the Democrats and the Republicans. After 30 years, many in the war-torn country found that there was no hope for them if they stayed there.

Countless of them from civilans to A.W.O.L soldiers on both sides left the nation and set out to sea. After searching into the Summer, they found a land that was being docked by those from other countries that had the same idea. The Americans told thier story about the war in the once-great nation. They learned of why the others wanted to find a new land from seeking opportunity to wanting a place to start anew to getting away from opressors like Romney and Kim Jong Ao. They begin to iron out details to right wrongs from their respective countries and started a Third Party Government. The war in America ended eventually and to this day, the Romney Family has ruled West America with an iron fist.

999 years pass as the settlers and their decendents built their new nation with their cutting-edge technology from their respective crountries. But all is not sunshine and roses in this international sactuary as a paramilitary organization called the Rural Order Of Dominion (R.O.O.D) has developed a special machine called the Evo-Fuser, a machine that fuses people with a chosen animal giving them their atributes chosen at random creating a new creature called an Evolutionary. All across the country of New America, along with many soldiers of the organization, this machine was involuntarily used on many to create super soldiers to be used by them for world domination after brainwashing.

Fortunately, the machine's creator, 11-year-old, Professor Stephenie Nutshell created the "Extraordo-Fuser" -An upgraded version of the Evo-Fuser that fuses up to five animals of the same gender as the subject one fuses with giving them their best atributes chosen at random by the setter and an extra power (Usually based on the exterior form)- and used it on herself to not only restore her body from an injury 8 years prior (Which was the machine's original purpose before discovering a somewhat unfortunate side-effect) to transform herself into a creature called an Extraordolutionary, but to use the atributes of the chosen animals (Externally a chipmunk) to race to the nearest civilization to warn people of the impending danger. By the time she found someone to help her and stop the organization's plans, a great many of the country's population from children to the elderly was already mutated into the new race.

One year later, the Evolutionaries learned to their new way of life in the 1000-year-old country. One day in the Southlands, a black and white-haired farm girl named Laura Bullheart (One of the few remaining human residents of New America) was taking her blue-ribbon cow into town to partake in the state faire. She stumbled upon a strange machine aged 1 year. She and the cow went to investigate the device which contained a bear, a gorilla, a rhino and a leopard. The cow went into one of the empty chambers which closes up behind her. Suddenly, a familiar, 12-year-old chipmunk girl wearing a green A-Shirt, lite purple, spandex pants and a pair of high-tops arrives.

"So you've arrived" the girl beamed.

"Who in tarnation are you?" asked Laura.

"My name is Stephenie Nutshell" She answered.

"...Y'all mean, the one who created the Evo-Fuser?" Laura asked in disbelief

"The same. Do you recall an incident a year ago?" Stephenie queried

"You mean the one with them R.O.O.D fellers?" Laura replied, "Yeah, what about it?"

"Well" Stephenie started with a less cheery tone in her voice, "they're back and they've found the blueprints to my Extraordo-Fuser. Their using it to create super soldiers for revenge. I've hid the first one I made here in hopes that I didn't have to use it again. When that hope was dashed, I located it and saw it had enough juice to make one more Extraordolutionary. And according to our records, your body will withstand the process. We've created four more for our side, but you will have a special role"

"Wait a minute" Laura replied, "Why do y'all need to include bessy?"

"Since she's a bovinae, the ability we had planed for you will be active" Stephenie explained, "I'm sorry to say that she's the only one compatible with the componants of this model. I'll make her's your base species if you want"

"Ah don't know" Laura responded thinking of the memories she had with her, "Ah was plannin' to show her off at the faire"

"Unfortunately, you'll have to skip it" Stephenie said in a sorry tone, "One of the R.O.O.D soldiers I mentioned is on his way here in Barnsdale"

"...Would mah uncle approve of this?" Laura asked.

"I already went over it with him; he told me of your past with R.O.O.D"

Hearing this, Laura remembered that she lost her parents during an attack on her birthplace, Bullheart Fields. She stepped in and the hatch closed behind her. Stephenie walks over to the lever, punches in the atributes chosen and gets ready to pull.

"Is this gonna hurt?" Laura asked.

"Not really" Stephenie answered, "But it WILL sting a little"

"...Swell"

Stephenie throws the switch and the process from human to Extraordolutionary Cow begins. She was given the muscles of the bear and gorilla, the rhino's toughness, the cheetah's speed and Bessy was used for her exterior. Soon, the new creature that was once a typical farm girl emerged from the machine in her new body.

"You are now Cow Girl, leader of the Urban Posse and our most powerful weapon against R.O.O.D." Stephenie boasted, "With the proper training, you'll be able to master the abilities given to you"

"Ah'm ready to- Wait, wouldn't YOU be the leader-? Land sakes, that DID sting" Laura finished caressing her upper arms.

"In that order" Stephenie started, "I don't have the necessary leadership skills you do, and I told you so"

Later at the faire, Laura and Stephenie await the soldier's arrival while partaking in the festivities.

"Heh, and you said ah had to miss this" scoffed Laura.

"I didn't think the soldier's destination was this general area" stated Stephenie. "And that's what worries me"

"Don't be so dang tense" Laura reasured Stephenie, "Y'all're too young fer that. It ain't worth worryin' 'bout 'till it happens"

"Well being a child prodigy, you HAVE to worry about such things" Stephenie replied taking a bite out of her caramel apple.

"...So, what abilities do YOU have?"

Finishing her bite, Stephenie replied, "I gave myself the flexibility of a cat, the claws of a wolverine, the speed of an ostrich and the teeth of a shark. The base species, a chipmunk, is the remind me of why I created the Evo-Fuser in the first place. My special ability is my enhanced intelegence" Just then, she noticed a crowd looking at them and talking amongst themselves. "Don't look now, but I think we may be drawing a little attention to ourselves"

"Who's the new cow chick?" asked a guy in the crowd.

"She's dressed like Laura" added another guy, "Hair and all"

"You don't suppose..." started a girl.

"They's just lookin'" Laura reassured her, "Nothin' special"

Suddenly, an explosion is heard. A giant gorilla man shows up. He threw a couple police men around before Laura stepped in his path.

"Well that was short-lived" said Stephenie, "Be careful, we still don't know what your special ability is"

"Then ah'll have to figure it out mahself!" said Laura charging into the soldier. "YO-DE-LAY-HEE-MOOOO!"

"...Really? Is THAT supposed to be her battle cry?" Stephenie asked.

The battle began with Laura taking a swing at the soldier only for him to throw a punch at her knocking her into the nearby dunk tank target. This angered Laura so much her horns spontaneously transformed into Ox horns.

"HA! Alrighty, big boy" Laura said in a confident voice, standing up and sure of her victory, "Let's do this! YO-DE-LAY-HEE-MOOOO!" she cried again charging into the soldier

Laura rams into the soldier sending him far away from the city. After beating up the soldier, the crowd rejoiced from the averted crisis. Recongnizing Laura, she was given the blue ribbon she was after as a thanks for saving them. Laura's horns go back to normal. Stephenie walks up to Laura to talk to her.

"Great job" Steph said, "Looks like your special ability is morphing your horns.

"...Shoot!" Laura shouted.

"What?" Stephenie asked.

"Ah almost fergot t' pick up mah prize from the Dunk Tank" she replied walking back over there.

"...I have a feeling this is going to be very interesting" Stephenie tells herself before following Laura.
